Ribbit Solver & Word Finder
2. Draw the connections. Drag a line across the tiles the game connects. A straight drag across a whole row, column, or diagonal links every tile it crosses in one motion; a short drag between two neighbours links just those two. Got one wrong? Switch on π Erase links and drag across it to remove it. Use β» Rotate to spin the board to match the game.
3. Solve. Hit βΆ Solve for every word you can trace, longest first. Ribbit's word list isn't public, so the solver uses its own dictionary - words flagged β are rare and the most likely to be refused. Tap a word to light up its path on the board.
4. Play along. Hit β Found on a word you've played or β on one Ribbit refused to hide it. When the game clears a tile into a frog, tap that tile to clear it here too - words that could only run through it drop out. The small number on each tile is how many suggested words can still reach it; a gold 1 means only one word can clear that tile, so play it before it gets stranded.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Ribbit?
Ribbit is Puzzmo's daily word game. You get a 4x4 board of letter tiles joined by drawn connections, and you make words by tracing a path from one connected tile to the next. Every word must be at least four letters long. As you find the words that use a tile, it clears from the board and turns into a frog, and the goal is to clear every tile.
How does this Ribbit solver work?
Type today's 4x4 board into the grid, then draw the same connections the game shows by dragging a line across the tiles - across a whole row, column, or diagonal to link them all at once. The solver lists every word you can trace on that board, longest first. Mark a word as found or refused to hide it, and tap a tile to clear it once Ribbit turns it into a frog - the word list updates to match.
How do I enter the board?
The board is a fixed 4x4 grid. Tap a square and type its letter - it advances to the next square automatically. Then draw connections by dragging a line across the connected tiles: a straight drag across a row, column, or diagonal links every tile it crosses in one motion. Connections can run up, down, left, right, or diagonally. Switch on Erase links and drag across a connection to remove it, or use Rotate to spin the board to match the game.
How are words ranked?
By default the solver lists the longest words first, because those are usually the marquee words a Ribbit board is built around. Switch to Common first to surface the words the game is most likely to accept. Each result shows its length, and rare words are flagged with β so you know which ones Ribbit may refuse.
Will Ribbit accept every word this solver suggests?
Not always. Puzzmo's official word list isn't public, so this solver runs on its own large open dictionary. Most suggestions work, but the game will refuse some - especially obscure words, which the solver flags as rare based on real-world word frequency. When a word is refused, hit the β on it and it's hidden while you carry on.
How does clearing tiles work in the solver?
In Ribbit a tile turns into a frog once you've found every word that uses it - there's no fixed number of uses. Because Puzzmo keeps the exact rule private, the solver leaves clearing in your hands: when the game frogs a tile, tap that tile to clear it here too. Any word that could only be traced through a cleared tile drops out of the list, keeping your remaining suggestions accurate.
